The Acne Diet has no scientific basis although some of the suggestions may work for some people. Even if none of the theories in this diet has been proven, many agree that chocolate and sugar trigger acne breakouts. Limiting one’s intake of these two food substances may result in some improvement.
If one is constantly struggling with acne breakouts, it is much better to see a dermatologist who would be able to suggest better acne treatments. As far losing weight is concerned, it would be better to maintain a healthy diet and combine it with an effective appetite suppressant.
