Review Summary
Its advertising material describes Colvera as, “an all natural weight loss system that is designed to help your body process proteins effectively and help you build lean muscle naturally.” “Colvera™ can help you lose weight without strenuous exercise and without giving up your favorite foods. It should be noted that if you exercise a little bit each week and eliminate a few high calorie foods from your diet, you will of course lose even more weight.” These promises are surely attractive and it would be nice to give the product a try, unfortunately the company does not offer a free trial sample and a bottle costs $59.95.

Ingredients at a Glance
* Colvera liquid capsules contain Collagen Protein, Aloe Vera, Vegetable Glycerin and additional ingredients which are listed at the website. Hoodia, the proven effective and very popular appetite suppressant, is not a part of the formulation.
* Collagen Protein is the material that connective tissues in the body such as the skin and ligaments, are made of. It is another name for the common gelatin. Collagen protein is a less expensive protein source which is why it is often used in weightlifting products. It does not cause any adverse side effects but more research is needed to find out if it is truly useful in weight management.

Ingredients in Focus
* Aloe Vera is a popular topical anti-irritant. It is also taken internally as a diuretic which is why it is commonly used in colon cleansing products.
* Vegetable Glycerin is a derivative of mineral oil and is a commonly used ingredient in products. It draws water from the air to the surface of the skin. It also helps retain the moisture in a product preventing it from drying out over time. When used internally, glycerin acts as a lubricant.
* Colvera does not contain the patented fat burner Advantra-Z®.

The makers of Colvera claim to give importance to customers’ inquiries.
We called the company to find out if there were any other positive testimonials about their product as there were only a few posted on the website. When we got through, we were put on hold for over 4 minutes. The experience gave us the impression that the customer service representatives were more interested in making a sale rather than providing support to consumers.
They do recommend however, that people send in their questions through e-mail. Although the website provides information about the product, it read more like an advertising copy. We were not able to find out how long the product has been sold in the market.
We found this posted at the website:
“Will Colvera interfere with any medications I take? No, there are no reported interactions. However, as with any new medication or supplement, you should consult your physician.”

Final Thoughts
Colvera is a relatively new product. The focus of its marketing is its collagen content which is advertised as being very important to the body that it can even help in weight loss. However the product does not contain an appetite suppressant and an active fat burner, the two basic ingredients that weight loss products should have. The formula may support nutritional health which is good, but it does not contain anything that would aid in weight management.
The main difference between liquid filled capsules and regular capsules is really just the marketing hype that makers of the liquid type create. Powder filled capsules have been proven for generations. Taking in the correct amount is essential and this is best done using a traditional capsule. Colvera does not provide enough customer testimonials as well as supporting research to validate the choice of active ingredients in the product. For these reasons, we are not impressed with it. Furthermore the company does not offer a free trial sample even if consumers would like to try it anyway.
