Evoxin is another “breakthrough” weight loss formula. It is said to support “healthy weight” and “healthy energy” and may be used to enhance a weight reduction program that includes a healthy low-calorie diet and a regular exercise regimen. Evoxin is being marketed by a company called Purity Products.

There are a large number of formulas that claim to be a “breakthrough” product. What could it be about Evoxin that makes it so? In this review we shall be closely examining the ingredients contained in this supplement

Evoxin contains the beneficial ingredient L-Carnitine. It is an amino acid that naturally occurs in the liver and kidneys. L-Carnitine is said to transport fatty acids into the mitochondria making it a facilitator of metabolism. An increase in L-Carnitine may encourage weight loss by boosting the oxidation of fat in the body.

Evoxin also has Biotin, a water-soluble B-Complex Vitamin. It is believed to play an essential role in cell growth and in the maintenance of blood sugar levels. Aside from these, Biotin is also said to increase metabolism. This ingredient however may be produced in excessive amounts by intestinal bacteria. We would like to note that Biotin is a vitamin that is not supposed to be taken daily as a supplement.

Green Tea has become a popular weight loss ingredient because of its ability to increase fat oxidation. At the same time it is also said to lower cholesterol level. Unfortunately, we found very little proof to validate these claims. Nevertheless, this should not stop people from enjoying Green Tea as a refreshing beverage.

The Evoxin webpage on the Purity Products site is quite lackluster. It does not include detailed information on the product and features no consumer testimonials. On the other hand, ordering online is easy and reportedly safe. A 60-tablet bottle is priced at about $55. Although there are some discount offers, it may only be availed of when buying in bulk. We think that for the typical ingredients used, the product is quite expensive. With hundreds of products in the weight loss market to choose from, one may certainly find better formulas that are much more affordable but may also be tested by consumers for free.

Evoxin is clearly not a breakthrough product with ingredients that are commonly found in many other weight loss formulas such as Green Tea Extracts, L-Carnitine and even Biotin. For those who are intent on following an effective weight loss program, Evoxin may not be the best product to use.
