Review Summary
Many people are steadily gaining in weight due to the quality of the American diet. The amount and kinds of food we eat is taking their toll on our collective health as a people. Obesity has been connected to an increasing number of health-related issues. For instance, people who are overweight have a higher risk of suffering from hypertension, heart disease, high cholesterol, and cancer.
With this problem reaching epidemic proportions, the interest in weigh reduction weight has increased significantly. Thus consumers are bombarded with advertisements for weight loss products online, on TV and in the media. Many of us are familiar with those late night infomercials featuring weight loss supplements, diets and exercise equipment.

System at a Glance
The Feasters Weight Loss plan was originally a book-based plan developed by W. Calvin Morris M.D. and Debbie Morris R.N. This plan is based on the concept that the body’s rate of burning calories is based on what has been consumed over the past few days and not on what it needs. In other words, the body adjusts the rate at which it burns calories depending on the amount it has been ingesting on previous days.

System in Focus
The developers of this system believe that a change in the type of food consumed or eating habits could stimulate weight loss. The trick is to shock the system and make it react in a way that would enable it to burn more calories.
They encourage people to “trick” their metabolism by doing the opposite of what they have been doing, maintain it for a couple of days, and then change again. This pattern should continue over an extended period of time. This is how the Feasters weight loss plan is supposed to work.
Dieters who follow this program are provided with the details on what foods to eat. For instance, there are what they call “fat burning compatible” foods. These foods boost the metabolism so that the body burns them in their entirety, and then goes on to burn up stored fat.

Diet Lifestyle
We found the Feasters website to be lacking in terms of consumer related information. A large amount of the information we gathered about this plan came from other websites including consumer driven ones. There is both an online and a book version of this plan making it easily accessible to dieters wherever they may be.

Positives
- Available online
- Book-based plan
Negatives
- Website does not provide comprehensive information
- No testimonials posted (as of review)

Final Thoughts
The developers of Feasters are convinced that this plan gives dieters a better chance of successfully losing weight. However, we do not see anything in it that makes us believe it works better than the other diets currently available. One good thing about this diet is that members are given access to an online version of the plan which we know many people would appreciate.
So far, there is no research that validates the concept that certain foods speed up metabolism which this diet is anchored on. However, there are holistic extracts that have been proven to be effective in promoting weight loss such as Advantra-Z®. This patented thermogenic agent rekindles beta-3 cell receptors which speeds up the release, transport and burning of fat in the body. All these are said to be required in order to achieve optimum weight loss.
